Kenny Verbeeck mailed me his review of the gig in Cambridge last week. A couple of his pics are on Flickr.

dEUS in Boston! Eigenlijk Cambridge.

Nevermind the setting. dEUS has entered the building! Nuts. Crazy. Big in Belgium? Big in TT the Bear’s!

I crossed the magic number of 1000 messages on this blog today. Thanks to all of you who mailed me with info, setlists, remixes or live-recording. Thanks for all the words of praise and appreciation. It gives me the power to keep on filling this blog day by day. Week after week. Month after month.

I won't be updating the next week. I will be somewhere far away from a computer with my girlfriend and kids. Jyves will babysit the blog and will probably update from time to time. If you have something for the blog: just mail it to bartvanbelle@gmail.com. I've set up a filter that will forward anything dEUS-related to Jyves.

I will be back next weekend and you can expect some fresh info then. Meanwhile enjoy the Vorst-recording and don't hesitate to leave some words in the comments. They will give me the power to give you dEUS-addicts 1000 more posts...

Cya soon,

Het Laatste Nieuws has an article about the American tour. The reporter went to see dEUS in San Francisco. Although the tour isn't a big commercial succes (they play small venues, for mostly Belgian and Dutch expats) Tom says it's the best tour ever (but he probably means the whole Pocket Revolution-tour). They had some great parties after the gigs too. One of the roadies called dEUS the heaviest group after Happy Mondays.

The gig supporting Snow Patrol was very good. It was an excellent occassion to play their music for an almost complete American audience. The singer of Snow Patrol said during the concert that Worst Case Scenario is one of the best rock-albums ever.

Average audience is 300 people during the American tour. They won't make any profit, but if it's up to Tom they come back in September. He also wants to play Ljubljana.
